First off, I want tell you about a quilting book that I absolutely recommend to you. Crazy Shortcut Quilts. It is a book that my friend Sarah Raffuse and her mom Marguerita McManus. It is a wonderful book about making crazy quilts using fat quarters of fabrics, quilting as you go, using the decorative stitches on your sewing machine. On the cover of this book is the quilt that Sarah made for a class she taught at our local quilt store. It’s also the quilt that inspired me to learn how to quilt. I like it! I like how the cross-hatch pattern overlays the underlying diagonal color patterns.
I'd go with it.
Ditto- I think the underlying pattern is awesome, I didn't notice it at first glance but it made me do a double take. I'm jealous! I guess I'll have to dig out my blocks and see if mine will do such a cool layout =)
